Inky longlist 2015








Some news! Last week Head of the River  did a wonderful thing and got longlisted for the Gold Inky awards – the Centre for Youth Literature’s Inside a Dog children’s choice award for Australian books. It’s my first ever listing and it’s an award voted for by teens. So it’s doubly awesome and thrilling.

What are the Inkys? The Inky Awards recognise high-quality young adult literature, with the longlist and shortlist selected by young adults, and the winners voted for online by the teen readers of There are two awards: the Gold Inky Award for an Australian book, and the Silver Inky Award for an international book. Can I vote? Yes! If you are 12-20 years old and an Aussie. The shortlist is decided by a panel of teen judges. You could be part of that by going here
