Now that the dust has settled, we have furniture to sit on and a place to call home, it’s probably worth mentioning that I’ve moved to Singapore to live for a while. It’s been an exciting, at times stressful move. We love it here, and I’m posting regular photos of the adventure on my instagram account over at https://www.instagram.com/piphaz/
Hit it up if you love drooling over noodles and dumplings and shots of colourful things that I spy on my cycle, MRT, grab taxi and bus rides around the vibrant island.
I’ll be heading to the Asian Festival of Children’s Content in May, which I’m hoping will open a treasure trove of new Asian writers and illustrators for kids. If you fancy a trip over, check it out at http://afcc.com.sg/
I’ve also recently completed my third YA novel, but while I wait on firm details, I can’t say too much more than that. It’s been an epic writing journey that’s taken me to a country cottage in Trentham, Victoria, to the hills of San Francisco and a high rise condo in Singapore. Who knows where this little manuscript will go next…
